On Valentine's Day between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. White Castles in select US cities are offering Hostess seating, candlelight dining, and your own server!

Growing up in Milwaukee, a city without White Castle, I always considered myself severely underprivledged. Luckily, my Grandma lives in St. Louis, and once or twice a year we'd visit and be sure to stop at a White Castle at least once during our short stay. Although these trips to see Grandma (aka: eat 7 steamed burgers trip) were great, they were merely a tease. A tease that left the taste of steamy meat, onion, bun, and flavor holes lingering in my thoughts and dreams for months at a time.
When I turned 16, uneventful evenings and moments of sudden inspiration led to quite a few road trips south of the border: Gurnee, Illinois--home of the nearest White Castle to Eric's boyhood home. Approximate travel time: 1 hour each way. Well worth it.
Anyways, for those of you with no plans yet for this V-Day.... take the date to White Castle.

Jenny: Hi, I'll have a burger, fries, and a coke.
Guy: How many burgers would you like?
Jenny: (really offended and surprised) um, ONE!
Everyone else: laughing and explaining "noooo Jenny, White Castle burgers are small!"
